My Qualifications

I am a degree qualified Naturopath from the Endeavour College of Natural Health, have a diploma in Montessori education and previously worked as a qualified accountant (Certified Practising Accountant) with a degree in Commerce from the University of Newcastle with over ten years of experience working in multinational corporations.

Provider Responsibility

I am a member of the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and they require a minimum number of CPD hours to ensure our skills are kept up to date. In addition, I research the latest developments in Naturopathy, taking all reasonable care and due diligence and committing to best practice to provide the highest quality of care to my clients.

Client Responsibility

As a client of my clinic it is your responsibility to be open and honest with your current health and health history including disclosing all pharmaceutical medication, diet, supplements and herbs that you are taking. It is also in your best interest to follow the prescribed treatment plan as per the instructions as agreed with me unless unforeseen circumstances arise.

These unforeseen circumstances include any adverse reactions to your diet, supplements or herbs. If this occurs, please cease consuming the food/supplement/herb and ensure you inform me immediately. If your reaction is life threatening or an emergency, please contact emergency services or go to your nearest hospital immediately.

Please note your treatment plans are individualised and therefore, should not be used as health advice for anyone other than yourself.

Important Information

Naturopaths do not prescribe or offer advice on pharmaceutical medication as it is outside of our scope of practice, therefore, you will be advised to go back to your GP/specialist who prescribed your medication if you have any questions. We also do not perform surgeries or other invasive techniques.

Naturopaths do not diagnose diseases. Therefore, you will need to visit your GP/specialist for a diagnosis. However, we can support you in your health treatment from a natural health perspective after your diagnosis or to simply improve your vitality.

In addition, Naturopaths do not treat emergency medical conditions and you will be advised to go to the nearest hospital if you require this treatment.

When working with more than one healthcare professional, it is important to be transparent with each professional about medications, supplements and herbs you may be taking. This encourages an atmosphere of collaboration and minimises the risks of drug/herb interactions ensuring you receive the best possible healthcare.
